Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

A lot of guys I talk to about starting a workout routine or an exercise routine are flat out intimidated by the magnitude of their initial weight-loss project to the point where they don’t even get started because the obstacles in front of them seem too daunting to overcome…

Don’t be one of those guys…

Although it may seem like it’ll take a Herculean effort to accomplish your weight-loss goals the most important thing to do is actually get started on your weight loss!

Research has shown that just modest weight loss is enough to result in the loss of one of the most dangerous types of fat harbored in our bodies - visceral adipose tissue.

If you’re a guy and you have one of those “hard” beer bellies chances are that your belly has at least some visceral adipose tissue in it and it’s imperative that your start your mens weight loss routine because visceral adipose tissue is the fat tissue that is most associated with heart disease.

The good news is that as soon as you start a weight loss program, the first fat to generally go is the deadly fat found in your belly.

Guys it doesn’t take a lot to get started on your mens weight loss routine… just cut your calorie consumption and start hitting the gym or just start engaging in physical activity!
